Cookies and local storage

Samurai Sums does not use analytics, advertising, login or payment cookies.

The site uses localStorage keys beginning with ss:v1 to remember game preferences, recent games and local best scores in this browser.

The live games-played counter increments only when a game reaches a completed result. It uses an anonymous server-side total and a duplicate-prevention hash retained for at most 24 hours, not cookies or tracking identifiers.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page visits and site performance. Cloudflare describes this as privacy-first measurement that does not use cookies or local storage to identify visitors. Query strings are not recorded, so free-text library searches are not included in these reports.
