Samurai Sums is designed to be playable without an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, school details or payment information.

Game preferences, recent games and local best scores are stored only in this browser using localStorage. This lets the games remember useful settings without sending that information to us.

The site keeps one anonymous aggregate counter of completed games, plus per-game totals. Starting, abandoning or exiting a game is not counted. Completion retries reuse a random duplicate-prevention key whose opaque hash expires within 24 hours. We do not attach names, accounts, schools, IP addresses, device details or gameplay histories to these totals.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits, referral sources and site performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not track individual visitors across customers' websites. It does not record query strings, and Samurai Sums does not send names, email addresses, school details, gameplay answers or free-text library searches to it. The measurement beacon can be blocked by browser or network tools, so its reports may not include every visit.
